A brief introduction :
-
1st Class Electrical Engineering Graduate
and Chartered Engineer (India) has over 3 decades of industrial
experience in the field of Power Engineering and Energy Management
including development of training and safety activities.

Retired as Chief Engineer in August 2000 from
BSES Ltd, (Now Reliance Energy Ltd. Mumbai)

While at BSES, developed many ways and means
of ensuring safety in operation and maintenance activities.
Instrumental in developing safety manuals as per ISO norms.

Successfully completed Lead Auditor training
course and Internal Auditor training course and a Certified
ISO Auditor registered in International Register of Certified
Auditors.

Done post graduation in both business administration
and industrial engineering.After retirement, persuaded research
for Ph.D. Degree at Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay,
Mumbai. The research interest includes – Energy Efficiency
improvement in Electric utilities and Industries. Completed
the work on the project titled “Management of electric
supply for improving quality of service to the consumers”
and it has attracted the attention of Planning Commission,
New Delhi.
- Hon. Secretary of the Society of Power Engineers (India) for
past ten years.
- Conducted several ISO Audits; Electrical Safety Audits and
Energy Audits for the Industries.
- Undertaking consultancy assignments for Energy Conservation
& Electrical Safety in industries.
- Visiting faculty member of IIT- Bombay, Management Institutes,
Railway Staff College, Engineering Staff College of India, National
Safety Council, Tata Group of Companies, BARC and many other
industries.
